AireSIM Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
AireSIM respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information that is collected or processed when you use the AireSIM website, mobile application and related eSIM services.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, when it may be shared, how it is protected, and the choices and rights available to you.
This policy applies to the AireSIM mobile application, the AireSIM website and related services provided under the AireSIM brand.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use AireSIM, we may collect or process the following information.
Account and contact information
We may process information such as your email address and other information you provide when accessing the service, verifying your identity, contacting support or communicating with us.
Where email verification or one-time authentication codes are used, information necessary to complete that authentication process may also be processed.
eSIM and service information
When you purchase, install, activate or manage an eSIM, we may process information relating to your eSIM and service, including:
ICCID and other identifiers associated with the eSIM; purchased eSIM plans and packages; activation and provisioning status; service validity; network and operator information; data usage and remaining allowance information; recharge or top-up information; order and transaction references; and technical information required to provision, operate or support the eSIM service.
This information is required in order to provide and manage the connectivity services requested by you.
Device and application information
We may process limited technical information relating to the device and application being used, where required to operate the service.
This may include information such as device type, operating system, application version, device compatibility information, push notification identifiers or tokens and technical request information.
This information may be used to provide device-specific functionality, determine eSIM compatibility, deliver notifications, diagnose technical problems and maintain the security and reliability of the service.
Support communications
If you contact AireSIM for support, we may process the information contained in your support request, together with relevant account, order, eSIM or technical information required to investigate and resolve the issue.
Payment information
Where purchases or payments are made through AireSIM, payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment service providers.
AireSIM does not need to store your complete payment card number in order to provide the service. Payment providers may independently process information required to authorise and complete a transaction in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Website and network information
When you access the AireSIM website, application or online services, standard technical information may be processed as part of operating an internet-connected service. This can include IP address, request information, browser or application information and security or diagnostic information.
2. How We Use Information
We process information where necessary to provide and operate AireSIM services.
This includes processing information to create and fulfil eSIM orders, provision and activate eSIMs, display eSIM and usage information, manage recharges or additional packages, authenticate customers, deliver service notifications, provide customer support, process payments, prevent fraud or misuse, secure the service, investigate technical problems and comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
We may also use aggregated or non-identifying information to understand how the service is operating and to improve reliability and functionality.
We do not sell personal information.
3. eSIM Provisioning and Telecommunications Providers
AireSIM relies on telecommunications networks, eSIM suppliers and other service providers in order to provide connectivity.
Information necessary to fulfil or manage an eSIM service may therefore be transmitted to or processed by relevant telecommunications providers, eSIM provisioning platforms, network operators or suppliers.
The information shared is limited to what is reasonably necessary to provide, activate, manage, troubleshoot or support the requested service.
4. Other Service Providers
We may use third-party providers to support the operation of AireSIM, including providers of cloud infrastructure, application hosting, email delivery, authentication, push notifications, payment processing, technical monitoring and customer support services.
These providers may process information on our behalf where necessary to perform their services.
Where third-party services process personal information for their own purposes, their own privacy policies may also apply.
5. Push Notifications
If you enable notifications, the AireSIM application may register a device or push notification token so that service-related notifications can be delivered to your device.
You can normally disable notifications through your device settings.
Disabling notifications does not prevent you from continuing to use other available parts of the AireSIM service.
6. Device Compatibility
AireSIM may process device-related information where necessary to determine whether a device supports eSIM functionality or whether a particular service can be used on that device.
We use this information to provide compatibility information and support the operation of the application.
7. Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable data protection law requires a lawful basis for processing, information may be processed because it is necessary to perform a contract with you, to take steps requested by you before entering into a contract, to comply with legal obligations, because processing is necessary for legitimate business interests that do not override your rights, or because you have provided consent where consent is required.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.
Information transmitted between the application, website and supporting online services is transmitted using secure network connections where appropriate.
No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the information being processed.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing services, maintaining transaction and service records, handling support requests, preventing fraud and complying with legal, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements.
Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods.
When information is no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymised or otherwise disposed of in accordance with applicable requirements.
10. Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your AireSIM account and associated personal information.
To make a deletion request, use the Contact Us facility on the AireSIM website and state that you are requesting AireSIM account/data deletion. Please provide the email address associated with your AireSIM service so that we can identify and verify the request.
Following verification, information associated with the account will be deleted unless some information must be retained for legitimate reasons such as legal, regulatory, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or transaction-record requirements.
Information that must legally be retained will be restricted to the required purpose and retained only for the necessary period.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction or deletion of information; object to or restrict certain processing; request a copy of information in a portable format; or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You may exercise applicable rights using the Contact Us facility on the AireSIM website.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
12. International Data Processing
AireSIM provides international connectivity services and uses telecommunications, cloud and technology providers that may operate in different countries.
As a result, information may be processed or stored outside the country in which you are located.
Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used when personal information is transferred internationally.
13. Children
AireSIM is a telecommunications and travel connectivity service and is not designed specifically for children.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental or guardian consent would be legally required.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information improperly, please contact us so that the matter can be investigated.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, suppliers, legal obligations or privacy practices change.
The latest version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be changed accordingly.
Material changes may also be communicated through the website, application or another appropriate method where required.
15. Contacting AireSIM
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, how AireSIM handles personal information, or wish to make a privacy or deletion request, please use the Contact Us facility on the AireSIM website.
Please identify your request as a privacy request where appropriate so that it can be directed correctly.
